It seems that Swedish style is slowly dominating the industry with their perfect cuts and immaculate finishes. Take one look at stylist and creative consultant Linn Hägglund’s discerning aesthetic and you’ll know what we’re talking about.
We catch up with Linn to talk about her current inspiration, wellness and beauty rituals and her chic daily uniform.
On her journey into the world of fashion
I started to work as a stylist part time during my years at University. It was the best part time job ever! When I graduated I started to work in PR for a few years but really missed the more creative work so I went back to styling.
On her wellness rituals
I love to do yoga and my favourite is Jivamukti. I try to attend 2 classes per week. I also love to run 2-3 times a week. I’m a pescatarian and I really do think that the absence of meat has positively affected my health.
On her current inspiration
Since my recent move to London, I’m very into interiors. And always the 90’s references with Donna Karen, Helmut Lang, Calvin Klein….
Words to describe her aesthetic
Warm minimalism.
On moving to London
I recently left Stockholm after 16 years for London. I now live in the south west of London with my family (husband, daughter, son and stepdaughter).
On who she most admires
All women out there balancing work, family and friends.
What a perfect Sunday looks like
Spending time with my family.
On her plans for the future
To be present and live life day by day.
Favourite places to visit
NYC and Paris for a weekend. My parents summer house in Värmland, Sweden, to relax. The French Riviera or anywhere in Italy for a summer vacation.
Beauty rituals
I do a lot of facials, both at clinics (my favorite is in Stockholm and I always schedule an appointment when I’m back there) and at home. I love the danish brand Beaute Pacifique.
Her most treasured possession
My wedding ring.
Daily uniform
Céline cashmere sweater, Khaite jeans, Chanel flats and depending on weather - a cashmere coat from Totême or a parka from Céline.
Words she lives by
Always be nice.
