- Photographer Claudia Smith ON WHAT SHE HAS LEARNT DURING THIS PERIOD SO FAR

ON THE SELF CARE PRACTICES SHE IS USING TO STAY WELL

Keeping routine, trying not to sleep in even though its so easy to. Time for face masks, keeping spaces tidy and open, skipping, only checking news once a day, making fresh juices, borrowing recipes from friends to cook at home for my parents and floating in the ocean when possible to bring me back to what matters most. •

CURRENTLY ON HER READING AND PLAYLIST

Reading various poetry by Leonard Cohen and Quiet by Susan Cain, listening to Angel Olsen and lots of Brian Eno.

ON CHANGING HER MINDSET

I’m distracting my mind by jumping into different practices and altering how I can still create - focusing more on still life works and reading more on topics of interest that I don’t normally give myself the time to do. I’m keeping conversations open with people I admire and love working with, so when all of this settles we can be making beautiful things together again.
